About the position
The Security Manager at GardaWorld is responsible for overseeing security operations at assigned locations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing security personnel. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance with client procedures and regulations. Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service as a top priority.
- Observe and survey the assigned area, reporting on activities.
- Monitor security and alarm systems, including CCTV.
- Respond to client emails and dispatch officers as needed.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
- Read and write detailed reports on security activities.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED).
- 2-4 years of prior experience in a Supervisory Role.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Windows 10, MS Word, Excel, and email.
- Experience with WinTeam, Kronos, or other scheduling/payroll systems.
- Willingness to obtain FDNY F-80 Certification before starting.
- State security license, specifically a New York Security License.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
