About the position

The Security Account Manager for Retail Shopping Mall at Allied Universal is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of security services at a designated client site. This role involves managing a team of security personnel, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining client relationships, and meeting operational and financial goals. The position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle escalated security issues while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site.
  • Manage a team of security officers, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and development.
  • Ensure high-quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees.
  • Coordinate necessary support services to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
  • Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Communicate staffing needs and assist in hiring quality candidates.
  • Develop staff through performance management and training.
  • Ensure employee grievances are addressed and personnel records are accurate.
  • Conduct site-specific training and maintain operational procedures.
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at the account.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in contract security, facilities management, military, or law enforcement.
  • At least 2 years of business management, operations, or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Experience in hiring, developing, and retaining quality staff.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex situations.
