About the position

The Security Account Manager at Marksman Security is responsible for overseeing security operations, ensuring the safety of personnel and assets, and developing security policies. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while responding to emergencies and conducting risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
• Coordinate with other departments on security-related issues.
• Assist with creating and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Regularly assess risks and vulnerabilities to identify potential security issues.
• Assist with training and evaluating security officers to ensure they are prepared to handle security tasks.
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of security tools and equipment.
• Assist in developing strategic plans to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
• Generate incident reports.
• Respond to emergencies and perform physical tasks.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, with supervisor experience preferred.
• Must have a valid state security guard card.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and/or business, or related field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience managing a security team.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in leadership/management.
• Previous contract security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• An understanding of security operations and Incident Command System.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.
