About the position
The Security Analyst I position at Florida Health Care Plans, Inc. is a full-time role focused on implementing and managing IT security strategies within the organization. The analyst will work in a dynamic team environment, ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices while supporting various projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage IT security strategies in assigned projects and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within the company and with external business contacts.
- Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or an Associate Degree with 4 years of progressive work experience in IT enterprise systems or security settings.
- One or more security certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, GISF, GSEC) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with coding in languages such as .NET, C#, SQL, JSON, Python, or PowerShell.
- 3+ years of Windows experience required.
- Experience with a variety of operating systems required.
- Knowledge of best practices in Information Security procedures and controls preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience applying current and emerging security solutions to meet organizational, industry, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with defense in depth, trust levels, system access privileges, and permissions preferred.
