About the position

The Security Analyst II position is responsible for implementing and managing IT security strategies across various projects and initiatives. This role requires a strong background in IT security, coding, and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment. The analyst will ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage IT security strategies in assigned projects and initiatives.
• Analyze and assess security risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and protocols.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• One or more security certifications (CISA, CEH, CCNA, AWS-CSS, CISSP, or CRISC).
• Three or more years of experience in coding with languages such as .NET, C#, SQL, JSON, Python, or PowerShell.
• Three or more years of analyst-related experience.
• Experience with a variety of operating systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience applying current and emerging security solutions to meet organizational, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of best practices in Information Security procedures and controls.
• Experience with defense in depth, trust levels, system access privileges, and permissions.
• In-depth knowledge of Insurance, Care Provider Services, or Retail Pharmacy Services business processes.
