As a Security Analyst within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. In this role, you will assist users experiencing business impact due to Data Loss policies. You will work with lines of business and security teams to address changes in business conditions. Your support will include activities, processes, and tools needed to improve the overall security posture of the organization. Your primary responsibilities do not include Architect or Engineering responsibilities. You will apply security concepts, review information, execute defined tasks, analyze requirements, review logs, and create documentation. You will perform investigations and data loss prevention, data manipulation, and coordination of activities. Your actions will address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities, and you will review and define controls. Additionally, you will advise on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators, and network operations. You will participate in the enforcement of control security risks and threats, with the potential of one or more controls subject to manager discretion. Sharing knowledge with staff will also be a key part of your role. You will conduct security assessments and other information security routines consistently, investigating and recommending corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines.
