About the position

Copper Hill is seeking a skilled Security Analyst with a strong focus on Azure and Office 365 environments. The role involves safeguarding on-premises and cloud services, ensuring compliance, and implementing security best practices to protect sensitive data and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events related to SentinelOne, Meraki, Azure, and Office 365 environments.
  • Conduct security assessments of Copper Hill and third-party applications, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
  • Implement and manage SentinelOne and Azure Security Center to enhance security posture.
  • Respond to security incidents in SentinelOne, Meraki, Azure, and Office 365, leading investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay current with SentinelOne, Meraki, Azure, and Office 365 security updates, threat landscapes, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures tailored to Copper Hill's business and Azure and Office 365 usage.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into cloud architecture and application development processes.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on Copper Hill applications, Azure, and Office 365 security best practices.
  • Prepare reports on security incidents and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a security analyst or related position.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
  • Experience with EDR and XDR solutions, Meraki appliances, Azure cloud security, and Office 365 security tools and features.
  • Experience with managing and securing both on-premise and hosted systems and applications.
  • Experience with application and database security.
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise-class technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, and desktop and server operating systems.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft's enterprise technology platform, including Azure, Active Directory, SQL, Office365, and Windows server and desktop operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
  • ISO 27001 and SOC2 familiarity and experience preferred.
  • Proficient in analyzing security incidents and generating actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
