About The Position
The Security Analytics Program Lead at TikTok will play a pivotal role in fortifying and maturing security programs that address complex challenges and deliver insights on trends. This position involves leading a team of data scientists and analysts to utilize data-driven techniques for building solutions and dashboards that measure, validate, identify, and envision TikTok's security program. The role requires designing and scoping projects, operationalizing analytics tools and platforms, and leveraging data to uncover insights, diagnose issues, and narrate compelling stories about security performance. In this position, you will be expected to formulate machine learning models using techniques such as machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) to analyze real-world signals generated from privacy products, incidents, and review areas. You will analyze extensive and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will define metrics for measuring current and target security maturity, providing a clear understanding of security performance, surfacing strategic problems, and generating actionable insights to assist teams in making informed judgments. The role also involves conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards related to key security metrics and KPIs for the Global Security Organization (GSO). Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including domain experts, engineers, and business stakeholders, will be essential for gathering reporting requirements and providing data analysis on various security projects. You will own the end-to-end process from requirements gathering to the development and delivery of metrics, ensuring that the security analytics program is robust and effective.
