About the position

The Security and Network Engineer role is focused on designing and implementing network architecture while ensuring robust cybersecurity measures are in place. This position requires a deep understanding of network protocols and hands-on experience with various network and security tools. The engineer will work closely with application development teams to enhance application security, particularly in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Review current network architecture and design
• Work with application development team to recommend application security in 5G Hub application
• Implement cloud networking and security measures
• Utilize encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL
• Employ automation and orchestration tools for network and security tasks

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture design and implementation
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on network defense
• Hands-on experience with network and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point
• Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, DLP
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management and threat modeling
• Expertise in cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL
• Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
