About the position

The Security Architect (Data) at Unlimited Technology is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategy in the domain of physical and cyber security. This role involves establishing security architectures and requirements, conducting business requirement analysis, and developing a forward-looking security vision aligned with the organization's business needs. The position requires collaboration with internal design teams and support for major product programs with security expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Development of security architecture, specifications, and identification of tools to meet security policies.
  • Assist with architectural design and security program creation.
  • Support major product programs with security expertise.
  • Collaborate on advanced engineering projects with internal design teams.
  • Assist in proof-of-concepts with new features and technology related to security.
  • Advise on necessary changes to systems to comply with security policies and standards.
  • Conduct incident investigations and system forensic examinations.
  • Work on multiple projects as a team member and lead systems related security components.
  • Develop system testing strategies, plans, cases, and conditions; monitor testing efforts.
  • Develop and evaluate systems security across various platforms and environments.
  • Perform related duties as required by project deliverables.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Security or Mathematics required; Graduate degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant security experience.
  • Five years senior architecture experience.
  • Experience in NERC-CIP implementations and audits.
  • Advanced architecture, design, and engineering knowledge.
  • Expertise in specific implementations of security and alerting systems (SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Network Monitoring, Data Diodes).
  • Expertise in specific implementations of cyber security models and frameworks (Zero Trust, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Purdue Model, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Familiarity with the ASD core platform and cybersecurity infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Datacenter relocation/consolidation projects.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Dragos, Gigamon, and TippingPoint.
  • Expertise with Asset Management platforms.
