About the position

The position involves working within a world-class security team at Axiado to architect cryptographic algorithms and develop security specifications for Crypto-based SoCs. The role focuses on ensuring security goals are met through the evaluation of systems and components, as well as prototyping and evaluating algorithms using C/C++. Collaboration with other architects and teams is essential to contribute to the design and verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect cryptographic algorithms and Root-of-Trust for Crypto-based SoCs.
• Develop SoC threat model and security architecture specifications.
• Evaluate systems of components to ensure security goals are maintained.
• Prototype and evaluate algorithms and architecture using C/C++ based architectural models.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and verification teams to review and provide feedback on specifications and designs.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of relevant security engineering experience.
• Microarchitecture and RTL industrial experience with silicon proof, including owning and creating a crypto module from concept to completion.
• Track record of completing SoC projects through all phases of the SoC development cycle.
• Experience with FIPS and/or Common Criteria certification for embedded crypto components.
• Familiarity with secure development lifecycle and best practices.
• Knowledge of cryptography side-channel attacks and countermeasures.
• Understanding of processor hardware security features.
