About the position

The Security Architect at Victoria's Secret plays a crucial role in supporting the Cybersecurity mission by protecting sensitive information related to customers, associates, and shareholders. This position involves reviewing architecture models, providing security recommendations for technology changes, and consulting on security matters across the business. The Security Architect is responsible for defining information security requirements, building threat models, and leading cybersecurity risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cybersecurity mission by protecting sensitive information.
• Communicate information security requirements and review architecture reference models.
• Provide security recommendations for releases, major technology changes, and project initiatives.
• Contribute reference documentation on approved architecture patterns.
• Consult on security matters with technical and functional partners across the business.
• Define information security requirements and build threat models.
• Lead security architecture assessments on innovation pilots and proofs of concepts.
• Review, design, and assess the security of various systems including network, platform/OS, and identity & access management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory drivers applicable to major technology projects.
• Contribute technical content to cybersecurity policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Security.
• 3+ years of experience with security architecture.
• Experience designing secure cloud solutions (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) preferred.
• Ability to guide, develop, and influence others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
