About the position
The Security Automation Engineer at COUNTRY Financial will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's security posture by implementing controls, integrating solutions, and streamlining security processes. This position focuses on identity management, privileged access, and security reporting, leveraging automation and application hosting technologies to improve security control and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and support IT solutions for security and automation.
- Ensure IT solutions meet security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance requirements.
- Understand industry-leading solutions and trends for assigned technologies and apply them appropriately.
- Partner with IT counterparts to recommend technology solutions based on business needs.
- Establish and maintain a multi-year IT strategy focused on continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain solutions architecture artifacts and other strategy and system documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with web hosting technologies such as IIS, Azure Web Apps, Apache HTTP Server, and Tomcat.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex problems.
- Experience administering IT Infrastructure like Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and Azure Web Apps.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Java, PHP, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of back-end database integrations like MS SQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of directory services and authentication technologies like Active Directory and LDAP.
- Knowledge of automated code deployment solutions like GitLab CI/CD and Ansible.
- Typically requires 4 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
