About the position

The Security Consultant role at ProArch is a client-focused position aimed at maintaining a comprehensive security program for customers. The consultant will utilize ProArch's security tools to detect and prevent cyber threats, implement and monitor security controls, and respond to incidents. This position involves working with a select group of industry experts on unique security solutions related to next-generation technologies and emerging threats, with ongoing training and professional certifications being integral to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage ProArch's security tools to detect and prevent cyber threats.
  • Implement and monitor security controls and incident response.
  • Analyze and create remediation strategies for vulnerability management programs.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews and cloud security reviews in a Managed Security Services Model.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Lighthouse, and other security solutions.
  • Manage and maintain security solutions, tools, and IT policies and standards.
  • Conduct security awareness campaigns using tools like Knowbe4.
  • Document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
  • Produce and review reports to support project deliverables.
  • Interface with clients to address technical and project-based questions.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity Consulting.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or significant demonstrable experience in Microsoft Cloud Security.
  • Experience in Advanced Microsoft Cloud Security Implementation and Consulting.
  • Experience in deploying and managing SIEM, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security solutions and EDR solutions like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization mechanisms, Identity Access Management, and user provisioning best practices.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST SP-800 series, and OWASP.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CISA are desirable but not required.
  • Knowledge of non-Microsoft Cloud Security solutions like GCP and AWS.
  • Experience with Splunk Processing Language (SPL).
  • Experience in scripting languages like AZCLI, PowerShell, and Python.
