The Security Officer at Jackson Purchase Medical Center is responsible for providing security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. This role involves proactive monitoring, responding to security threats, investigating incidents, and maintaining knowledge of emergency preparedness plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Perform proactive monitoring of potential and actual security threats.
- Investigate and manage all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
- Maintain knowledge of and follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Facilitate planned drills and simulations.
- Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety.
Requirements
