The hours for this position are 3rd Shift, Tuesday to Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a shift differential included. As a best-in-class enterprise Corporate Security Control Center Operator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the 24/7/365 Northwestern Mutual Security Control Center (SCC). This role is crucial in creating an environment that inspires others to achieve their goals by blending a thorough knowledge of security processes and technology with our company values. SCC Operators are responsible for taking appropriate actions that promote and maintain safety and security for people and facilities. This position requires excellent attention to detail, as you will proactively monitor and analyze data from intelligence platforms on emerging incidents and other adverse situations that could negatively impact business operations and the safety and security of our workforce, facilities, guests, or assets. In addition to monitoring the department's enterprise access control and video surveillance system for irregularities, you will assign resources as appropriate. The ideal candidate will also rotate through posts in our enterprise security control centers, patrol our campuses in Milwaukee and Franklin, assist at the main lobbies, and provide security at company special events. Security experience in a corporate environment, strong customer service skills, and foundational computer skills are critical to the success of our Security Control Center Operators. Specific platforms within Northwestern Mutual's Enterprise Security environment can be taught, including Milestone XProtect Video Management Software, CloudGate Enterprise Visitor Management System, Metasys Building Automation System, JCI Fire Panels, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom.
