About the position

The Security Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and managing daily activities of security officers to ensure efficient operations. This role involves working closely with the Director to maintain service quality, manage staff, and oversee client relationships. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including potential overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, and emphasizes customer service and team development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily activities of security officers.
• Assist the Director in ensuring operational efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of security personnel.
• Monitor and improve processes related to service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Conduct daily reviews of activity and incident reports, communicating needs to clients and management.
• Organize and host weekly meetings with supervisors to review operational priorities and client issues.
• Ensure all shifts are filled in advance and manage time-off requests.
• Foster a positive working environment through feedback and recognition programs.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to established procedures and solve problems.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
