About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Level ACC/Alarm Technician to join our team in Riverside/IE, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of security technicians, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. This role requires a strong background in various programming experiences, with a focus on security system technologies. The Lead Level ACC/Alarm Technician will coordinate and schedule security system installation projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines. This position involves conducting site surveys and assessments to determine client requirements, evaluate system feasibility, and plan the installation process. In addition to installation, the technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and programming security systems, including cameras, access control systems, alarms, and monitoring devices, according to project specifications. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations during security system installations is crucial. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and malfunctions in security systems, performing diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades as needed. Collaboration with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders is essential to provide technical expertise, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of security system installations, configurations, and maintenance activities. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in security system technologies and industry best practices is important, as is providing recommendations for system enhancements and improvements. Following company policies, procedures, and guidelines for quality control, safety, and customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in security system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, including cameras, access control systems, alarms, and video management systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to security system installations.
  • Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and software for security system installations and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security system issues.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technicians to achieve project objectives.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, project managers, and team members.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
