About the position

The Security Engineering Manager for Operational Technology within Google's Cloud CISO organization is responsible for leading a team that enhances the security of industrial control systems and operational technology environments. This role involves managing security assessments, developing secure engineering practices, and driving major security improvements across Google’s infrastructure. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in security engineering and leadership skills to influence cross-organizational programs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and influence cross-organizational programs and stakeholders to land security projects for Industrial Controls Systems/Operational Technology environments.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of existing ICS/OT environments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and non-compliance with Google standards.
• Work with ICS/OT devices, networks, and applications to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Research and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the ICS/OT security program.
• Develop and implement a prioritized roadmap for remediation, aligning with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 10 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• 10 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 10 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with operational technology and industrial controls systems.
