About the position
Join the Public Safety - Security team at Six Flags! As a Guest Entry Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring guest entry and exit, validating guest parking, and overseeing the parking lots. This position requires you to work fixed posts and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with guests and team members. You must be at least 17 years old to apply and be available for all shifts. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor guest entry and exit at fixed posts.
- Validate guest parking and monitor parking lots.
- Complete departmental reports and required paperwork.
- Attend required training sessions and maintain certification tests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Address and resolve guest violations of park policy.
- Maintain grooming and appearance standards according to policies.
- Assist with cleaning as needed or directed.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time and as many as 12 hours a day.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outgoing and friendly personality.
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English.
- Comfortable using a computer and communicating via phone and portable radio.
- Ability to listen and monitor radio communication by earpiece.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Professional, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
