About the position
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent surveillance skills, and the ability to handle conflicts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring authorized entry
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner, following established protocols
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports and shift logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
Requirements
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems
- Possession of a valid security certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with law enforcement practices and regulations is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established protocols
