About the position
As a Security Guard at Allied Universal®, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding clients across various industries, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government. This position is designed for individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the premises. You will be responsible for implementing safety and security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. The role requires a calm demeanor and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with incidents and critical situations. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, ensuring that all areas are secure and that any potential issues are addressed promptly. The working environment may vary significantly depending on the client site, which means adaptability and a keen awareness of your surroundings are essential. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, including swing and graveyard shifts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen as a condition of employment, as permitted by law.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
