Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Escort individuals to specified locations or provide personal protection as required.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Monitor controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, alarms, or security cameras.

Requirements

• Valid Guard Card license.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
