About the position
The Security Guard position at Admiral Security Services involves providing security coverage for various locations, ensuring the safety and security of clients, tenants, and the general public. The role requires performing a range of security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders, contributing to a professional security team that has been established for over four decades.
Responsibilities
- Perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site specific post orders.
- Control access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
- Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
- Observe and report security and safety hazards.
- Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
- Report all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client, and other department managers as appropriate.
- Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to operate and maintain site specific security programs.
- At least one year of verifiable work experience.
- One year of military, concierge experience, or an AA/BA in a related field will be considered.
