About the position

The Security Guard at Richland Country Club is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of club facilities, members, guests, and employees. This role involves patrolling the property, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining accurate logs of security activities. The position requires vigilance and the ability to act effectively during emergency situations.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol club facilities and property to ensure safety of members, guests, employees, and the club's assets.
  • Make timely written and oral reports as required.
  • Observe and enforce club safety rules and policies.
  • Monitor security camera systems.
  • Respond to emergencies, fire alarms, and break-in alarms, contacting the Clubhouse Manager and/or police as needed.
  • Administer CPR and First Aid if necessary.
  • Patrol parking lots to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all security staff activities.
  • Conduct intermittent inspections of the clubhouse, grounds, and all other club facilities and areas.
  • Ensure all internal and external doors are locked according to club policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • 5 years of experience in security or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in conflict management required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Tennessee Armed & Unarmed Guard Certification(s) with Dallas Law endorsement(s) required.
  • First Aid Training, CPR Training, De-escalation of force training, Safe restraints Training required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous service in the U.S. Armed Forces or Law Enforcement preferred.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
