About the position

We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The primary responsibility of this role is to create a safe and secure environment for guests and staff at a brewery. The ideal candidate will have experience in public safety and security, demonstrating a high degree of integrity and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility.
• Remove trespassers when necessary.
• Maintain a safe and fun environment for guests and staff.
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity.
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents via incident report.
• Be able to clock in and out using an application.
• Check IDs using a scanner to confirm age.
• Enforce and control rules and policies set by the location.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred.
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures.
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision in a high traffic lounge bar atmosphere.
• Not afraid to be assertive when needed and able to take directions and orders.
• Professional appearance and all security gear lined up.
• Extensive experience in the field and customer service oriented.
• Excellent hygiene and grooming.
• Ability to diffuse situations and issues according to company policy and standards when dealing with conflict.
• Ability to maintain composure when conflict arises.
• Effective communicator and able to work as a team.
