About the position

The ICS/OT Cybersecurity Consultant at Accenture is responsible for leading and executing security engagements in critical infrastructure environments. This role involves assessing clients' security postures, recommending improvements, and implementing security solutions tailored to operational technology environments. The consultant will work with various industrial technologies and frameworks to enhance security measures and ensure compliance with best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute ICS/OT security engagements in critical infrastructure environments.
  • Assess and identify security solutions for OT environments.
  • Help clients evaluate their security posture and recommend improvements.
  • Perform testing against ICS/OT devices, networks, and security control mechanisms.
  • Investigate device ecosystems and monitoring for security enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive, electric substations, water treatment, power generation, or similar environments.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with ICS technologies such as SCADA, DCS, and PLCs.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with cybersecurity functions including vulnerability assessment and incident response.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with common ICS protocols and technologies.
  • Minimum 6 months experience authoring detailed reports based on security assessments.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in IT or OT networking infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 1 year experience assessing against standards like NIST CSF and NERC CIP.
  • Minimum 2 years experience providing consulting services to Fortune / Global 1000 clients.
  • At least one relevant industry certification (CISSP, GICSP, etc.).
  • Experience in deploying OT Security Sensors in operational environments.
  • Minimum 6 months experience performing reverse engineering of embedded devices.
