About the position

Accenture is seeking an experienced ICS (Industrial Control Systems)/OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of enhancing security measures for critical infrastructure and mission-critical industry environments. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, influence, and execute ICS/OT security engagements, assessing and developing security solutions tailored to the unique needs of various industries. You will work closely with clients to evaluate their security posture, recommend improvements, and implement effective solutions. This includes conducting assessments based on established security frameworks, reviewing existing security measures, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform testing on ICS/OT devices, networks, and security control mechanisms. This involves hands-on testing of devices currently in use as well as those slated for future deployment. You will also investigate the device ecosystem and monitoring processes to ensure robust security measures are in place. The ideal candidate will have a passion for security, a proactive approach to identifying potential threats, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your work will contribute significantly to the resilience of our clients' operations, as you blend risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security, and managed service solutions to rethink the entire security lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute ICS/OT security engagements in critical infrastructure environments.
  • Assess and identify security solutions for OT environments and industrial technologies.
  • Evaluate clients' security posture and recommend improvements.
  • Implement security solutions based on assessments and best practices.
  • Perform testing on ICS/OT devices, networks, and security control mechanisms.
  • Investigate device ecosystems and monitoring processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive, electric substations, water treatment, power generation, or similar environments.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with ICS technologies such as SCADA, DCS, EMS, DMS, ADMS, PCN, RTUs, IACS, PLCs, HMIs.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with cybersecurity functions including vulnerability assessment, identity and access management, incident response, and monitoring.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with common ICS protocols and technologies.
  • Minimum 6 months experience authoring detailed reports based on security assessments and presenting findings to non-technical executive staff.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in IT or OT networking infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 1 year experience assessing against standards and frameworks like DOE C2M2, IEC-62243/ISA-99, NIST CSF, NERC CIP.
  • Minimum 2 years experience providing consulting services to Fortune/Global 1000 clients.
  • At least one relevant industry certification (CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP, etc.).
  • Experience in deploying OT Security Sensors in operational environments.
  • Minimum 6 months experience performing reverse engineering of embedded devices and/or industrial protocols.
