About the position

The Security Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC) Analyst at CEVA Logistics plays a crucial role in supporting the security leadership by monitoring global events and assessing their potential impact on the organization. This position involves executing core functions of the SIOC, including incident recognition, information analysis, and emergency response, while ensuring the safety and security of CEVA's assets, operations, and personnel. The SIOC Analyst operates within a 24/7/365 environment, generating tactical intelligence to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor global events and assess their impact on organizational stakeholders.
  • Execute core functions of the SIOC including incident recognition and escalation.
  • Oversee CCTV surveillance and access control systems.
  • Manage travel security monitoring and response coordination for CEVA NORTAM employees.
  • React to and manage alarms across CEVA locations.
  • Deploy and supervise the security guard force to enhance safety and security efforts.
  • Assist in leveraging a mass communication system to alert employees during crises.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and assist CEVA employees in need.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during emergencies and critical incidents.
  • Produce tactical intelligence reports in collaboration with the CEVA Security Intelligence Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, or Political Sciences.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Quick adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Strong decision-making and multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure when interacting with authorities and executives.
  • Flexibility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts covering both daytime and nighttime periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in security operations or intelligence analysis.
  • Familiarity with emergency response protocols.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
