About the position

The Security Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC) Analyst I plays a crucial role in supporting CEVA Security Leadership by monitoring global events and assessing their impact on the organization. This position involves executing core functions of the SIOC, including incident recognition, information analysis, and emergency response, while ensuring the safety and security of CEVA's assets and personnel. The analyst will work within a 24/7/365 environment, utilizing advanced technologies to monitor security systems and respond to alerts, thereby safeguarding the company from potential risks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor global events and assess their impact on organizational stakeholders.
  • Execute core functions of the SIOC including incident recognition and escalation.
  • Analyze information from multiple external sources to identify potential threats.
  • Oversee CCTV surveillance and access control systems.
  • Manage travel security monitoring and response coordination for CEVA employees.
  • React to and manage alarms across CEVA locations.
  • Deploy and supervise the security guard force.
  • Assist in leveraging a mass communication system for crisis alerts.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and aid requests from employees.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during emergencies and critical incidents.
  • Produce tactical intelligence reports in collaboration with the Security Intelligence Officer.
  • Maintain records related to threat assessment and management.
  • Monitor travel systems for potential threats to employees.
  • Support SIOC Leadership in accomplishing necessary tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, or Political Sciences.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Quick adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Superior communication skills for executive-level interaction.
  • Proficiency in decision-making and multitasking under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure with authorities and clients during urgent situations.
  • Flexibility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Successful completion of background checks and references.
