About the position

The Security Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC) Analyst II plays a crucial role in CEVA Logistics' 24/7/365 Security Intelligence Operations Center. This position is responsible for developing both tactical and strategic security and intelligence products that inform protection and risk mitigation efforts for CEVA's assets, operations, and personnel. The SIOC Analyst II will monitor regional events, support assessments, and provide briefings to security leadership regarding potential impacts on personnel and operations. This role encompasses various core functions, including incident recognition and escalation, information analysis, emergency response, product security, supply chain security, and physical security. In addition to monitoring electronic security capabilities and external information sources to identify potential threats or risks, the SIOC Analyst II will work closely with senior SIOC Analysts and the Security Manager. The responsibilities include employing advanced software platforms to monitor and review CCTV surveillance, access controls, and high-value corporate assets, as well as coordinating responses for CEVA's Travel Security Program. The analyst will react promptly to alarms across CEVA locations, monitor on-location guard forces, and assist in deploying mass communication alerts during crises or critical incidents. The SIOC Analyst II will also collaborate with CEVA security and intelligence personnel across the enterprise, execute prescribed procedures to mitigate risks, and aid in maintaining records related to threat assessments and reports management. This position is vital in ensuring the safety and security of CEVA's operations and personnel, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor regional events and support assessments related to security and intelligence.
  • Brief security leadership on potential impacts to personnel and operations.
  • Execute core functions of the SIOC including incident recognition and escalation, information analysis, and emergency response.
  • Monitor electronic security capabilities and external information sources for potential threats.
  • Employ advanced software platforms to review CCTV surveillance and access controls.
  • Support the CEVA Travel Security Program through monitoring and response coordination.
  • React promptly to and manage alarms across CEVA locations.
  • Monitor on-location guard forces and assist in deploying mass communication alerts during crises.
  • Provide support during CEVA security-related incidents and assist requests from employees.
  • Collaborate with CEVA security and intelligence personnel across the enterprise.
  • Execute prescribed procedures to effectively mitigate risks and threats.
  • Collaborate with the CEVA Security Intelligence Officer to produce tactical intelligence reports.
  • Maintain records and information related to threat assessments and reports management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Emergency Management, Communications, or Information Technology.
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Proficient in current security technologies and analytic methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Adaptability to crisis or dynamic situations.
  • Superior communication skills for effective interaction at an executive level.
  • Proven organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Availability for training events outside standard work hours.
  • Flexibility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts covering both daytime and nighttime periods.
  • Successful completion of background checks and references.
