About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Security Intern for Summer 2025 at their Orlando, FL facility. This role involves navigating various security disciplines, including Personnel Security, Classified Cybersecurity, and Physical Security, while also working on projects to drive innovation. The intern will gain hands-on experience in multiple lines of business and will be expected to demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited university in Security Management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, International Studies, Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Ability to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Interest in learning about the protection of sensitive data.
• Ability to create, prepare, and deliver security-related briefings.
