Security Investigator

About the position

The Security Investigator position at UPS in Shreveport, LA focuses on ensuring the security and quality of services impacting the company and its customers. The role involves monitoring and auditing security policies, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The investigator will inspect physical assets, analyze service failure reports, and present findings to management and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Audits quality and integrity policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Monitors employee disciplinary data.
• Analyzes investigation results and the root cause of losses to determine preventive measures.
• Analyzes research and surveillance data, interviews investigation subjects to obtain written incident statements, and prepares accurate and thorough case files.
• Develops customized security procedures for external customers.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Availability to work flexible shift hours
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Willing to travel (1 week per month)
