About the position

The Security Lobby Ambassador position at Allied Universal involves providing exceptional customer service and security support in a pharmaceutical company setting. The role is focused on ensuring a positive experience for tenants and guests while maintaining safety and security protocols. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication skills, as the ambassador will be the first point of contact for visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by implementing safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions.
  • Operate the Access Control system to verify guest registration and check identification.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, tenants, and guests, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and tenants graciously.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of prior security experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
