About the position

The Security Manager will be part of the Pratt & Whitney Government Security Compliance (GSC) Security Operations Team, focusing on supporting Collateral and Program efforts. This role involves ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, providing technical support, and delivering customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and efficiency in managing security operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Perform the full range of tasks associated with establishing, maintaining, and enforcing all applicable regulations to ensure compliance with USG contracts.
  • Assist in implementing security procedures and practices consistent with company standard operating procedures and government regulations.
  • Provide daily in-person security support and services to accessed employees.
  • Process, organize, and maintain accurate personnel records that contain company sensitive and personally identifiable information.
  • Brief and debrief personnel, conduct security education and training awareness, assist with self-inspection activities, and perform entry/exit inspections.
  • Track and work to completion all security deliverables including DD254s, SOWs, PERSEC, visitor control, document control, and security plans.
  • Assist in managing the daily operational workload and projects of the Security Operations Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in security; OR an Advanced Degree and 5+ years of experience in security.
  • Current Secret or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
