About the position

The Security Manager is tasked with developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive security program for Schools and Community Services. This role involves overseeing security personnel, policies, and systems to ensure the safety and security of patients, students, clients, staff, visitors, and property. The Security Manager will work collaboratively with various departments to maintain a secure environment, respond to security incidents, and lead emergency preparedness and incident response efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security program for Schools/Community Services.
• Oversee all security personnel and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to support a secure environment.
• Respond to security incidents and provide leadership in emergency preparedness and incident response.
• Manage security policies and systems at the assigned reporting location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field, or ten years of progressive management experience in a security or law enforcement related field.
• Five or more years of management experience in security or law enforcement related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of security and emergency management best practices, particularly in healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding hospital/school/program.
