About the position

The Security position is responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff within the hospital premises. This role involves conducting patrols and performing various security duties to protect life and property against fire, theft, and vandalism. The Security personnel will also be required to intervene in situations involving combative individuals and defuse potentially violent behavior.

• Conduct regular patrols of the hospital premises to ensure safety and security.

• Document daily activities and incidents using computer software.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (M.O.A.B.) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Active Driver's License required.
• 1 year of experience in Security or Health Care preferred.
• Comfortable working with computer software for daily documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.
