About the position
The Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, monitoring for suspicious activities, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and cover various shifts, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time opportunities with potential for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the facilities being protected.
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
- Work for multiple clients at various locations, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
- Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- For driving positions, must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.

- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
