Responsibilities

• Serve and safeguard clients in various industries.
• Manage access control and customer service at the guard shack.
• Log and direct trailers, ensuring correct load destinations.
• Monitor CCTV, burglar alarms, and access control systems.
• Direct visitors and truck drivers to appropriate locations on the grounds.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Answer telephone calls and maintain log books.
• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers and seals.
• Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Experience in access control and customer service.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and work outside in various elements.
• Background investigation and drug screening required as a condition of employment.

Nice-to-haves
