SECURITY OFFICER - EVENTS VENUE

About the position

Gateway Group One Security Officers are tasked with ensuring the safety and security of clients and customers by responding to their needs and resolving issues professionally. The role requires individuals to document incidents, monitor security systems, and maintain a professional demeanor in various situations, including stressful ones.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors/vendors/clients in a professional demeanor.
• Answer phones, monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
• Conduct tours of inside and or outside perimeters of client site.
• Log in visitors/vendors/contractors.
• Maintain a daily log of all activities for post.
• Perform escorts when required.
• Access control.
• Foot patrol.
• Post inspections.

Requirements

• Superior customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proper telephone etiquette.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills.
• A valid SORA license required.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Available to work with individuals in a variety of situations.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma/GED.

• Security experience a plus.
