About the position
The Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, monitoring for suspicious activities, and reporting any unsafe or criminal acts. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and cover shifts as needed, providing a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the facilities being protected.
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
- Work in various environments and conditions, including inclement weather.
- Lift or carry items up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed during shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 6 months of prior security experience.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology.
