About the position

The Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, monitoring for suspicious activities, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and cover various shifts, making it essential for candidates to be adaptable and responsive to different environments and situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facilities they protect.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work for multiple clients at various locations, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Must have an active level 2 license for longer than 6 months.
• Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or Corrections/Law Enforcement/Military Experience preferred.
• Security experience of 2+ years is preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology.
