About the position

The Security Officer - Flex position at Allied Universal involves ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to deter crime and manage client rule infractions while providing excellent customer service. The position is part-time and requires flexibility in working hours across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facilities.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work in various environments including outdoor conditions.
• Complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have an active level 2 security card for longer than 6 months.
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience (if applicable).
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely and maintain a clean driving record.
