About the position

The Security Officer at Horseshoe Tunica is responsible for providing essential security functions to ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and team members. This role involves protecting the casino property, managing the transfer of money and chips, and interacting professionally with guests and law enforcement. The officer will also maintain logs of incidents, administer first aid, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for the casino and all employees and guests.
• Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor.
• Interact with guests, employees, and law enforcement agencies in a professional manner.
• Maintain a written log of incidents involving guests or employees and prepare detailed reports as required.
• Maintain and inventory first aid equipment on assigned shift.
• Administer emergency medical treatment to injured guests and employees.
• Assess the needs of injured or sick individuals and arrange for rescue units if necessary.
• Ensure departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support and maintain Caesar's courtesy guidelines and promote outstanding guest relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must be able to acquire a MS Gaming License.
• Candidates must complete all necessary company training and certification training.
