About the position
The Security Officer position at Table Mountain Casino involves providing safety and protection for the casino's property and guests under the direction of the Security Shift Supervisor. The role requires maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with casino policies while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Protect the Casino assets by performing frequent Casino and grounds patrols.
- Observe suspicious or unusual situations, undesirables, and minors.
- Ensure the safety of guests and team members on property.
- Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
- Greet each customer as they arrive with enthusiasm and a smile.
- Enforce casino policies as they pertain to team members.
- Respond to incidents on property when dispatched.
- Participate in casino duties such as the casino drop, observe the opening of slot machines, and escort team members during bank transfers and chip fills.
- Communicate clearly in speech and writing abilities.
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
- Maintain a teamwork mentality to ensure efficient operation and interaction with all departments.
- Maintain a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times.
- Ensure practice of excellent grooming and uniform standards.
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of any questionable associations.
- Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the casino's guest service standards.
- Participate in and support all guest service training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills comprehension is required.
- Security Officer experience is not necessary.
