Responsibilities
- Deter crime and provide order and control during the shift.
- Patrol the facility or stand a post as instructed.
- Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime.
- Detect suspicious activities and report any unsafe or criminal acts.
- Respond to all incidents as dispatched, providing assistance as needed.
- Protect personnel and property, securing the incident scene until properly relieved.
- Conduct initial investigations of incidents and complete appropriate reports.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age; 21 for Armed or Taser positions.
- High school diploma, College Degree, or GED, verifiable through background vendor.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, with at least 2 years of verifiable work history.
- Valid guard card/license as required in the state of application.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
- Must maintain current active status of all required licenses.
