Responsibilities

• Deter crime and provide order and control during the shift.
• Patrol the facility or stand a post as instructed.
• Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime.
• Detect suspicious activities and report any unsafe or criminal acts.
• Respond to all incidents as dispatched, providing assistance as needed.
• Protect personnel and property, securing the incident scene until properly relieved.
• Conduct initial investigations of incidents and complete appropriate reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age; 21 for Armed or Taser positions.
• High school diploma, College Degree, or GED, verifiable through background vendor.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, with at least 2 years of verifiable work history.
• Valid guard card/license as required in the state of application.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Must maintain current active status of all required licenses.
