About The Position

Highly skilled Security Professional. Assigned to a fixed post or performs preventive patrol in an assigned area on foot.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Security, Military, Emergency Management, Law Enforcement, or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a tactical handgun or rifle course is preferred.
• Attendance to Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Security Operations policy and procedures.
• Successful completion of employment background check and medical screening.
• Proof of completion of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory test or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to meet all applicable state licensing requirements for security officers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive patrol in an assigned area.
• Respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Accurately perform routine data entry into a computer.
• Make accurate basic mathematical calculations.
• Post and keep legible records.
• Work overtime and all shifts as needed.
