About the position

The Security Officer at Hilton Portland Downtown is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and team members while maintaining the security of the hotel property. This part-time role involves patrolling the hotel premises, responding to emergencies, and promoting safe work practices, all while delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety and security risks.
  • Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property.
  • Promote safe work practices among team members and guests.
  • Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
  • Write reports and ensure the accuracy of necessary documentation.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
