About the position

The Security Officer position at Hollywood Casino Morgantown is a part-time role focused on ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. The officer will perform various duties mandated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, including monitoring the premises, conducting inspections, and responding to security risks. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with PGCB mandated requirements, including gaming related drops and inspections.
• Patrol buildings and grounds of the facility or stand watch at assigned security posts.
• Examine points of entry to ensure they are secure.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment and facilities are safe.
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards and security doors left unlocked.
• Guard against theft of company property.
• Greet guests and staff in a positive and professional manner.
• Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the plant entrance.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings and events.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience demonstrating sound judgment and dependability.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effective communication skills with customers and employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
