Security Officer Part-Time

About the position

The Part-Time Security Officer role at Kent Services involves ensuring the safety and security of residents and guests at a residential building, similar to a hotel. The officer will patrol the pool area, enforce rules, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service, all while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the pool area and surrounding property to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and guests.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, addressing any violations calmly and professionally.
• Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or concerns in the pool area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Monitor for any suspicious or unsafe activity and take appropriate action in accordance with security protocols.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security breaches to management.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure a safe atmosphere.

Requirements

• Class D security license required.
• Previous experience in security.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours.
• Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
